Carefully crafted from a combination of diverted food scraps and browns, IVCC Community Compost inoculates soil with beneficial fungi, bacteria, and protozoa that transform nutrients in soil to plant-available forms. Ready-to-apply and easy to use for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications such as topdressing, soil amendment, lawn repair, seed starting, and more! 

One small bag (12" x 6") holds ~ 2lbs

One large bag (20" x 12") holds ~ 15 lbs or 1/2 cubic foot

How to use:

Method #1: Mix

• Mix directly with existing potting soil to boost health & add volume (1:3 compost to Soil)

Method #2: Amend

• Place a ¼-½ inch layer of compost on top of your soil. Water in. Cover with mulch. ½ cubic foot (one large bag) of compost covers 7.5 sq ft at ½” depth

Method #3: Extract

• Fill IVCC 2lb compost bag with compost. (Note: can substitute bag for old t-shirt). Submerge bag in 5 gallon bucket of water. Soak for one hour, or until water turns brown. Use to water plants as normal.
